FaceID Apple Pay confirmed for iPhone 8 and iPhone 7S.

@_inside has found on the HomePod software tracks of  FaceID Apple Pay feature coming to the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7S this September.

Indeed, other developers and software buffs have inferred that references to "pearl.field-detect" and "pearl.pre-arm" in the leaked software for the company's forthcoming HomePod smart speaker are actually references to Apple's in-development facial recognition system known as 'Pearl'.
And, while the use of Pearl in forthcoming Apple products has long been recognised as the Face ID source code one of the surprises is that the Face ID will now apparently be integrated with Apple Pay to create a pioneering FaceID Apple Pay system.
FaceID Apple Pay will be available for the first time in iPhone history, thanks to the accidental release of beta software for another Apple product.
